Head Coach: Ahman Elliott-Hunter

*UPDATE* As of recently Coach O has been appointed the USA Boxing NJ Association Coaches Chairman!

Better known as Coach O is a nationally recognized amateur boxing coach with over 15 yrs of experience. He was not only the USA team coach at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado; but the NJ Regional and National Team head coach/manager since 2014. He's currently the Junior Olympic Co-Chairman for USABOXING NJ and was honored by the NJ Boxing Hall of Fame for 2018 Coach of the Year. He has a love for the sweet science of boxing and is dedicated to helping men, women, and children not only become champions inside the ring, but become champions in life.

Assistant Coach: Edgar Gerena

Coach Gerena has 10 plus years of National and International Coaching experience. NJ State, Regional, and National Team Coach. Currently a USA Nationally Certified Level 3 Boxing Coach. Head Coach of the USA International Team which competed VS Puerto Rico Winning The Team Gold Medal.

Assistant Coach: Miguel Mendez

As a 2x NJ Diamond Gloves Champion and 2014 NJ State Champion, Coach Mendez started his boxing journey in his homeland of Mexico before moving to the United States. Relocating to New Jersey he began the next phase of competing under the tutiledge of the Knight Bros! After 10 years, he put on his coaching cap and began learning and working alongside Strap City head coach, Ahman Elliott. Coach Miguel is proven to be the goods!!

Assistant Coach: Jordan Simpson

Jordan is the current top amateur 165 champion in the state of NJ holding both NJ Diamond Gloves & NJ Golden Gloves titles! Recently stepping into the National stage of competition, he also serves as one of our Junior Olympic program coaches at Strap City!

Assistant Coach: Kahiel Elliott

Kahiel is the most decorated female amateur boxer in the history of NJ! As a multi-national champion as well as former Team USA gold medalist she has been recognized by both the NJ Boxing Hall of Fame and the NJ Amateur Boxing Hall of Fame for her stand out career!!

Also she was awarded by the NJ State Senate/General Assembly for her efforts documenting her in the NJ State history books as first female amateur boxer with these accomplishments!!
